President of Souhatsu-Keikaku
After working in the internet business department of a large corporation and consequently as a CTO of a start up, he founded Souhatsu Keikaku, Inc. in 2011 to provide business development consulting.
He was diagnosed with ALS in the fall of 2014 and underwent gastrostomy surgery in the spring of 2016 then tracheostomy surgery in the spring of 2017. He is currently severely disabled, categorized as Nursing Care Level 5 and Disability Degree Classification 6.
Based on his own experience, he is working to create a system that allows patients with ALS and other neurological intractable diseases to participate actively in society.
He is the President of Souhatsu-Keikaku, board member of the Kanagawa Branch of the Japan ALS Association, initiator of Kawasaki Tsunagarou-kai (Let’s get connected group), and advisor to the Kanagawa Prefecture Symbiotic Society.
