Sawyer Kai

Kai Sawyer is a peace activist and founder of Tokyo Urban Permaculture. He studied psychology, organic farming, and sustainability at University of California Santa Cruz, and experienced the state of intebeing while living in the jungle of Costa Rica. He teaches mindfulness, permaculture, Nonviolent Communication, and gift economics in Japan and around the world. He co-founded the Peace and Permaculture Dojo, a training and experimental center for ecological communal living in Isumi City. A father of a 4 year old zen teacher.
