Fumito Takekura

Fumito Takekura is an anthropologist. Currently working as an independent researcher. Graduated from the Department of Religion, Faculty of Letters, The University of Tokyo, and left the doctoral course at the Graduate School of Decision Science and Technology, Tokyo Institute of Technology. Modern academia, established by eliminating religiosity from the human intellect, has brought great prosperity to human society by banishing witchcraft from public spaces and sealing off the authority of theology. But now this mode of intellect is endangering humanity and degrading our quality of life. In order to build a future society, I believe it is essential to reevaluate the functions of the mythical mind that humanity has utilized, and to restore a cosmic “sense of life” that brings harmony with the environmental world. He is the author of “Reading Clay Figures” (Shobunsha, 2021) and “Reincarnation: The Story of Rebirth Connecting ‘I'” (Kodansha, 2015).
